Insights into Gardening
The 20th Insights into Gardening features keynote speaker Mary Fran McClure, one of the founders of Insights into Gardening, who will discuss the different gardening techniques for growing east of the Cascades and west of the Cascades. Participants may also select three of nine different classes to attend. A great group of exhibitors will be on hand as will the OSU bookstore.
Fruit Tree Pruning Class
A three hour demonstration of best pruning practices for a variety of fruit trees, held at the Clackamas Community College Home Orchard Society Arboretum. Learning Lessons from Analyzing Tree Failures
Come hear experienced arborists and foresters share what they have learned about investigating past tree failures and ow they apply that information to tree risk management, and discuss what more we need to learn about tree failures. Our featured speaker is Dr. Brian Kane of the University of Massachusetts. Brian is a well known researcher and lecturer on tree failures and hazard tree issues.
